Education For All is a joint campaign between the Canadian Association of University Teachers (CAUT), the Canadian Federation of Students (CFS), the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE), and the Public Service Alliance of Canada (PSAC). Together we represent over 1.4 million post-secondary students, workers including faculty, contract academic staff, librarians, researchers, teaching assistants and support staff who are calling for a system of post-secondary education that is fully publicly subsidized and accessible to all.

Students and workers have been mobilizing for years in response to increasing tuition fees, skyrocketing student debt and government funding cuts. In response to this economic crisis as the result of COVID-19, students are escalating their campaign to ensure they don’t get left behind. But students are not alone in this fight. Students, workers including faculty, contract academic staff, librarians, researchers, teaching assistants and support staff, and community members have a vested interest in achieving a fully publicly-funded, high-quality system of post-secondary education. A strong movement of students, labour unions, faculty associations, progressive organizations, and the community at large would show the government that there is wide support for publicly-funded post-secondary education, and that is not only possible but necessary.
